  • Eat in a cool and peaceful place with a calm mind.
  • Eat only when you feel hungry (after previous meal has been digested)
  • Include as many “Satvik” foods in your diet ad possible. Satvik foods are fresh, pure, and typically vegetarian foods with mild flavors. These dietary choices are said to be “Life-Giving”, and to enhance energy (prana) and vitality (ojas).
  • Avoid drinking water immediately before and after a meal, as it diminishes digestive fire (agni).

RECOMMENDED FOOD TO BALANCE PITTA

To balance Pitta in body, in general prefer Sweet, Bitter, and Astringent tastes. Have food not too hot and prefer cool or lukewarm drinks.
